Practitioner-supervised training at home

Home Neurofeedback

Receive BrainTrainUK’s personalised neurofeedback programme at home, using the same professional equipment and practitioner oversight as our clinic-based training.

This is not equipment rental. We provide a professionally supervised service in your home, with the assistance of your nominated home trainer.

How it works

A clinical service delivered in your home

1

Assess and plan

We review your history, symptoms and goals, then design your personalised neurofeedback plan.

2

Train your home trainer

We train your nominated home trainer to operate the equipment confidently and follow the supervising practitioner’s instructions.

3

Supervise the first session

A practitioner provides real-time online supervision as you begin training at home.

4

Review and adapt

Your session information and symptom tracking inform ongoing practitioner review and adjustments.

Is it right for you?

Home training is not suitable for everyone

Home neurofeedback is available to selected clients who can follow the programme and have a technically confident family member or other nominated home trainer to operate the equipment.

A novice cannot practically conduct neurofeedback on themselves, so the person receiving neurofeedback and the home trainer must be different people.

Cost and availability

Is home training more cost-effective?

Home training can be more cost-effective, but its principal benefits are convenience and the opportunity to train more frequently without travelling to a clinic.
