Stuart Black – Founder and Managing Director, Neurofeedback Practitioner

Stuart obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from King’s College London and his Master’s in Coaching & Development from Portsmouth Business School. Stuart has worked in various roles and industries, management consultancy, and worked with the executive team at the Bupa Cromwell Hospital in Kensington from 2009 – 2012.

His interest in the intersection of technology and wellbeing led him to Neurofeedback and how it could be used for therapy and peak performance. Stuart credits Alpha training with Jim Hardt (BioCybernaut Institute) as key to his own personal transformation.

Stuart founded BrainTrainUK in 2013. Stuart has a particular interest in developmental trauma and the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). Stuart and his partner Inta are Special Guardians for 3 children of a friend who died suddenly in 2017. Stuart is Chair of North West Surrey Foster Carers Association and a Trustee of the Family Rights Group.
